Organized by CESL Asia and Co-organized by Macau Youth Art Association, the “CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative” Kid’s Drawing Contest 2021 Award Ceremony was successfully held at the University of Saint Joseph on 11 June. The event was supported by Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Bank of China Macau Branch, McDonald’s Macau, PricewaterhouseCoopers, University of Saint Joseph, Jornal Tribuna de Macau and Macau Daily Times.

Under the theme of “Our Sustainable City”, the contest aims to provide a platform for children to share their creative and critical vision on a sustainable city as well as to draw out an ideal green city in their minds. This event could also increase awareness of environmental in Macau.

CESL Asia President and CEO, Mr. Antonio Trindade addressed that, “We organized this drawing contest to engage and inspire our city’s next generation and their educators to reflect about the Sustainable Development of Macau, the quality of our lives today and in the future. The artworks, the strong commitment and support of all is inspiring to us.”

The four judges unanimously agreed “the drawings were very creative and showcased students’ wonderful artistic skills and their motivation to live in a greener, healthier and happier city”.

CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day 2020 is happening today! As part of CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative, it supports Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”) athletes development programs and promotes values in community care and harmonious development of our society.

CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day” is co-hosted by Sporting Clube de Macau and brings together 17 parties of company and organization. Teams from these company and organization will be joined by MSO athletes in four tournaments: Football Tournament, Bocce Tournament, Invitational Friendly Football Tournament, Bocce Family Race and Charity Bocce Challenge, for a day full of enthusiasm, inspiration and impact!

A big thumbs up to everyone who participated in the “CESL Asia Social Investment 20th Anniversary” Kid’s Drawing Contest! The awards ceremony was successfully held last week. Congratulations to the 34 contestants who stood out! The winners received various prizes sponsored by Banco Comercial de Macau, Banco Tai Fung, McDonald’s Macau and PricewaterhouseCoopers. We also wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Macao Daily News, Jornal Tribuna de Macau, Macau Daily Times and the above-mentioned sponsors, that contributed to the success of this initiative.

In the year 2000, CESL Asia established the “CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative (CSII)”, a non-profit fund with a mission of "How to grow a city" and investing human and capital resources for the community development.
