CESL Asia's “Sustainable Carnival Kid's Drawing Contest” Lets Imagination Run Wild

CESL Asia in partnership with the Macau Youth Art Association is excited to celebrate its 35th anniversary with the Sustainable Carnival Kid's Drawing Contest. The contest aims to promote sustainability and environmental awareness among children in Macau while encouraging their imagination to create a happy and sustainable carnival.

From April 3rd to May 5th, 2023, Macau students aged 8 to 14 are invited to participate in the “Sustainable Carnival Kid's Drawing Contest”, showcasing their artistic talents and creativity while exploring the theme of sustainable carnivals, with a focus on Diversification, Eco-friendliness, Inclusion, and Celebration.

By promoting sustainability and environmental awareness among Macau's youth, the “Sustainable Carnival Kid's Drawing Contest” encourages children to think creatively about how events can be organized and enjoyed in a way that benefits both people and the planet, contributing to growing a happier and more environmentally conscious city.

For over two decades, CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative (CSII) has been contributing to the sustainable social and economic development of Macau through active annual programs that encourage education, inclusion, sustainability, healthy lifestyles, and innovation.

Antonio Trindade, the President and CEO of CESL Asia, said: "Our annual Kid's Drawing Contest, now in its 4th edition, is an important part of our CSII program. We hope to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders and empower Macau's youth to contribute towards growing a happier and more sustainable future for the communities.”

CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative programs are more impactful because of the support of the company’s employees, the community, and our business associates. We extend our sincere gratitude to Baker Tilly Macao Certified Public Accountants, Banco Comercial de Macau, S.A., Banco Nacional Ultramarino, McDonald's Macau and MGM, as well as our media partners Jornal Tribuna de Macau and Macau Daily Times for actively contributing to making this project an inspiring moment for Macau's children.
