Summer Internship at CESL Asia

Classroom learning is important, but it may not offer students with actual working experience which enables them to make better

preparations for their future career. This summer, CESL Asia is happy to provide 15 students with internship opportunities in the com-
pany and its subsidiaries. The aim is to help these students to bridge the gap between learning in the classroom and application in the
work environment.
Below are some of their thoughts about their internship. We wish every one of them good luck!

課堂學習十分重要，但學生未必能夠於課堂中獲得真正的工作經驗，以助他們為未來的職程作好準備。今個夏天，盛世集

團向十五名同學提供實習機會，安排他們於集團及其子公司工作，希望能使他們學以致用。
以下為其中一些實習生的感想。盛世集團在這裡祝每一位實習生前程似錦！

The internship has broadened my horizon and gave me more understanding of the ser-
vices, operations, and management of the different companies and departments. Most
importantly, I benefited from being in touch with many people from whom I learned
a lot, such as the ways of handling issues with efficiency, getting along with people, and
communicating with others.

Sou Chong Hang, Jerrick 實習令我開闊了眼界和增廣了見聞，對不同公司和部門的服務、營運和管理都加
深了認識。最重要的是，實習期間我接觸了許多同事，從他們的身上，我學習了
很多待人處事和溝通的技巧。

教育背景: Accounting & Finance 會計與財務

The corporate culture here is wonderful and the colleagues are nice and always teach
me with patience. During the internship, I have the opportunity to get familiar with
the Dynamics SL (Solomon) System and the tax system in Macau, which is different
from that in the U.K. that I had been studying. I believe what I have learnt during the
internship can be of great help to my future career development.

我認為這裏的企業文化很好，同事都十分友善和很耐心地教導我。這次實習 Chan Kuan Un, Bella
使我有機會學習到Solomon系統的操作以及了解到澳門的稅務制度，這跟我
一直接觸到的英式稅制有所不同。我相信在實習中所學的知識對我未來的職
程發展很有幫助。

Educational Background: Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional 中葡職業技術學校
教育背景: Graphic Design 平面設計

At the beginning, I found it quite difficult to master my job. Luckily, with the guidance
of supervisors and other colleagues, I managed to get familiar with the working environ-
ment, understand the operations of machines and equipment used for maintenance, and
work on the maintenance of runway lights.

15 Che Ka Weng, Willie 一開始時，我感覺工作一時還未能上手。幸好有主任和其他同事的指導，令我逐
漸熟悉工作環境，了解到用作維護的機器和設備的營運和接觸跑道燈維修的工
作。
