CESL Asia proudly celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative (CSII), a pioneering impact program launched in 2000, with the successful hosting of the “CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day 2025” on 15 November at the Macao Federation of Trade Unions Workers' Stadium.
Bringing together over 25 companies and organizations, the event developed a vibrant platform of sportsmanship, inclusion, and community care, while raising MOP 155,000 in support of Macau Special Olympics (MSO). The donation will help empower athletes to pursue their sporting dreams and achieve new milestones.
This year’s event held particular significance as Macau is co-hosting the 15th National Games in the Greater Bay Area in 2025, a milestone that highlights the region’s growing commitment to sports excellence and integration. Through the CSII, CESL Asia has long supported the development of talented athletes in Macau, encouraging participation across different sectors and promoting the values of teamwork, resilience, and community engagement.
A major highlight of the event was the Corporate Inclusive Bocce Tournament, where corporate teams, CESL Asia volunteers, their families, and MSO athletes competing side by side in a spirit of equality and inclusion. “CESL Asia Team 1” emerged as the Golden Cup Champion, while “CESL Asia Team 2” claimed the Silver Plate Champion title. In the Corporate Football Tournament, “Galaxy Entertainment Group” triumphed as Champion, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and enthusiasm. The event also featured a Football Friendly Match between CESL Asia and MSO, showcasing the enduring partnership between the two parties throughout the years.
In his remarks, Mr. Antonio Trindade, President and CEO of CESL Asia, stated: “The CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day reflects our long-standing belief that sports can unite people, strengthen communities, and inspire development. As we celebrate 25 years of our CSII, we are proud to see Macau Government’s continued and strong support for sports development, which will be further demonstrated through the National Games in the Greater Bay Area.”
Over the past 25 years, the CSII has focused on leadership development, social integration, equality, and sustainable growth. Through the initiative like CESL Asia and Friends Sport Fun Day, CESL Asia continues to strengthen the impact leadership among staff, engaging with our like-minded companies, partners and families, while promoting sports and inclusion and advancing Macau’s role within the Greater Bay Area, Mainland China, and beyond.
