Q    Learning from this experience, any improvements are needed?
          問 吸取今次經驗後,處理上有何改善方法?
        After Typhoon Hato, we immediately reported the ferry terminal situation to the government, which included damage
        condition of the terminal facilities, weather condition during Typhoon "Hato" and road condition etc. We believed that
        the coordination between different operating units at the ferry terminal shall be improved and we provided different
        suggestions and improvement plans for consideration; in addition, our engineers also met with clients few times for
        further discussion, provided suggestion on ferry terminal facility modification and enhancement for security with the
        objective that in case of future disaster, ferry terminal could still be operating smoothly, while equipment and building
        damage could be lowered and services could be resumed in a short time. Furthermore, to fulfill our promises to Macao
        citizens, every issue has to be handled immediately no matter under what situation, even with limited resource.
        Even though we are only responsibled for facility maintenance for the Ferry Terminal at the moment, however with
        our professionalism, we have confident to provide “Total Solution” to assist our clients from planning, preparation to
        follow-up arrangement, assist for restoration and provide support, perform emergency repair works and supervision
        with limited resources.

        在颱風過後,我們馬上向客戶匯報狀況,包括碼頭的損毀狀況、當天天氣、路面情況等。我們認為可提升
        碼頭各營運單位之間的協調,亦提供了很多的建議及改善方法。再者我們的工程師也跟客戶進行了多次會
        議,建議在大型修復時同時進行設施改良以加強安全程度。令日後再遇天災時,碼頭亦能運作順暢,設備
        及建築的損毁盡量降低,務求縮短復航時間。此外,為履行對澳門市民的承諾,即使遇到如此不可抗力的
        情況及在有限的資源下,我們亦會馬上處理事故,全力支持碼頭的順利運作。

        雖然現時我們團隊只負責氹仔客運碼頭的設施保養,但在我們的專業下,是可以完成所謂的「全方位解決
        方案」(total  solution)。幫助客戶從規劃、事前準備到發生事故後的各層面,如管理、資訊傳遞、  設備調
        度方面,為他們提供更有效的解決方法,協助恢復及提供支援,在有限的資源下進行搶修、監督,以達到
        設施持續優化及營運。
