CESL Asia grew from a small group of talented professionals and today we have more than 400 CESL Asia team
members, well recognized for our technical and management competences that ensure the availability of services and
lifecycle performance of the most critical — economically and socially — facilities of our city.

In these 30 years, CESL Asia, FOCUS and MPS have always delivered the highest performance with the highest
integrity. Our clients and our community can trust that CESL Asia’s “How to grow a city” is our commitment for hard
work, competence and innovation.

30 years, every day, 24 hours a day!

Past success is a great inspiration for the future and we are still working to grow together with our clients and community.
With the same values that have been serving us so well, our new generation of leaders and colleagues in their care are
doing well, serving our long-esteemed client relationships as well as several new ones.

Macau keeps changing; our city, our clients have new requirements and different expectations. Like we are used to, we
are taking-on big challenges and we are proactively adopting new processes of work and new service solutions that can
best suit this new environment. Most importantly, we are consistently delivering the best results to our clients. We are
grateful and encouraged for the appreciation and praise that we receive, often and formally, reiterated. Thank you all for
your trust and recognition, we are ready to grow with you, we are ready to grow with Macau.
CESL Asia’s “Growing Platform Strategy” is being implemented for over 5 years. It is inspired by Macau policies to
diversify its economy and its aspirations to become the center-piece of China’s relations with the Portuguese speaking
world and it is progressing well. Our solar energy business in Portugal is thriving.
In the beginning of November CESL Asia had the honor to participate in the first ever China International Import Expo
(CIIE). During this very significant event, we showcased the advantages of CESL Asia’s management platform - and its
unique business model - for investments and operations of businesses in the Portuguese Speaking Countries, from our
base in Macau. In Shanghai, for a week, we were first hand witnesses of how relevant this strategy is to Portuguese and
Chinese and have also signed partnerships with companies in Portugal and China – like Monte do Pasto, Spin Works
and Newland—and are planning to explore opportunities to develop and deploy innovative technologies and business
models to better resolve day-to-day bottlenecks and life complexities and, as a result, to improve the quality of life of
our communities.

We want to grow and we will grow together with you! Our first motivation is to ensure that today’s high achievements
of CESL Asia, Focus and MPS are a good legacy for our leadership of tomorrow! We hope that you, our future leaders,
can roll-in smoothly and do better than us!

I am also pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded the ISO 45001 Health and Safety certificate. Again,
we are the first in Macau to achieve such demanding quality certification levels.

Our Corporate Social Investment Program continues to comply with its Charter, developing company and community
leaders and organizing a series of different events to raise awareness for special needs of special groups of our society.
Of the many planned projects during the year, some with well-established partnerships, I would like to point out this
year’s Sport Fun Day, the second time it was organized in an expanded format. Athletes, our clients, government and
private institutions, partners and families - over 200, aspiring and accomplished sports people of all ages - joined hands
through over 6 hours of a well participated gathering and sports competition. Everyone was happy and we were able
to promote an inclusive society, a society that pays attention to every member of its young generations and gives them
training, work and education, opportunities to contribute themselves to our community and a lot of money was raised
to the Macau Special Olympics too.

In a nutshell: Thank you so much for being part of CESL Asia success and for being here marking the important 30th
anniversary milestone with us. Our gratitude goes to our staff and families for choosing to be part of our team. Thank
you all for a productive year.

Last but not least, I would like to reiterate our appreciation to all our business partners and clients for your trust over
the years.
