In July, Dafoo conducted the ISO14064 Greenhouse Gas (GHG)
Validation & Verification external audit in the Galaxy Phase 1
project site. Dafoo successfully completed the audit and was granted
the certification. CESL Asia always aims to promote environmental
protection and reduce energy usage in the operation process. One
of the objectives is the implementation on the quantification,
monitoring, reporting, validation and verification of GHG emissions.
To enhance the consistency, credibility and transparency of the GHG
quantification, monitoring and reporting, Dafoo team will conduct
several activities such as monitoring, quantifying and reporting
project performance for reduction of GHG emissions.
在今年的7月份，達富設施管理有限公司在銀河一期的項目場
地進行了ISO14064 溫室氣體審定和核查，核查結果滿意及成
功完成認證。盛世集團一向致力採納不同措施以推動環保，及
在工作流程中減少能源損耗，其一措施就是對溫室氣體的排放
及/ 或移除進行量化、監察、報告、審定和核查。

為了在溫室氣體量化、監察和報告方面的一致性、可信度和透
明度，負責項目的同事會進行評估、計算、實施氣體項目計劃
等等，務求控制溫室氣體的排放量。

Safety Training

職業安全培訓
Training is vital in the company. It enhances the working efficiency
and improves the technical skills of the staff. Regarding the safety
trainings, QAS organizes monthly safety tool box talks with different
topics, and assists the sites and other departments on safety courses
coordination and conduction of training.

Previously, QAS teams conducted the Self Contained Breathing
Apparatus (SCBA) trainings in Galaxy substation project site, aimed
at emphasizing safe usage and proper handling of the SCBA. Related
safety concerns were reminded to the colleagues, while participants
had the chance to use and perform the inspections by themselves.

至於工作安全方面，除了每月安排的安全座談會，也會因應項
目經理或其他部門要求作出相關的協助及負責培訓工作。

早前，品質安全部在銀河電站項目場地安排了個人自給式呼吸
器測試及使用的安全培訓，在課程中，同事們瞭解了正確操作
和維修自給式呼吸器的重要性，並親自配戴儀器，以進一步熟
悉呼吸器的運作及使用方法。
