Following the success of the 2nd Portuguese-Speaking Engineers Congress (hereinafter called CELP) held in Macau
in 2014, the 3rd CELP was successfully held on 12th Sept and 13th Sept 2018 in Maputo, Mozambique by the
Mozambique Engineers' Association. The Macau Engineers’ Association attended the meeting with a delegation
of 8 people including CESL Asia's Redfield Cheong and Miguel Santos. The theme of 3rd CELP was “Climate
Change”, which accounted for a significant number of Portuguese speaking engineers attending. As a wide variety of
engineering talents gathered-up, various solutions to tackle climate changes were discussed thoughtfully.

Every two years, a member of the Federation of Portuguese Speaking Engineers Association (FAELP) organizes the
CELP in the corresponding country or region. With the generic enterprise strategy of growing the city, since the very
beginning CESL Asia has been supporting the local engineers and the Association of Macau Engineers (AEM) for the
promotion of the Sino-Luso Platform. It is worthwhile pointing out that our CEO, Eng. Antonio Trindade represented
the Association of Macau Engineers in the 1st CELP held in Lisbon.

Besides, the Macau delegation illustrated many proactive concepts such as taking the pivot role as a platform for
engineering and construction information and services between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. And that
is precisely what CESL Asia has been doing.

繼2014年在澳門成功舉辦第二屆葡語系國家工程師大會（以下簡稱CELP）後，莫桑比克工程師協會於
2018年9月12日和13日，在莫桑比克馬普托成功舉辦了第三屆CELP。是次大會澳門工程師學會派出了由
8人組成的代表團，其中包括兩名來自盛世集團的員工，張達康（RC）先生和Miguel Santos先生。本屆
CELP吸引了眾多葡語系國家工程界的精英，大家聚首一堂並就大會主題“氣候變化”進行了深入的探討，
同時也提出了不少可行性和實用性兼備的解決方案以應對氣候變化危機。

葡語系工程師學會聯盟（FAELP）每兩年將委任其中一名成員國家/地區為CELP的主辨單位。盛世集團多
年以來一直秉持發展城市的戰略，致力於支持本地工程師和澳門工程師學會（AEM）的發展，推動澳門成
為中國與葡語系國家間重要的交流平台。值得一提的是，我們的CEO，António Trindade工程師亦曾經代
表澳門工程師學會參加過在里斯本舉辦的第一屆CELP。

澳門工程師學會還為大會注入了不少前瞻性的理念。當中包括提出構建建築工程的資訊平台，利用澳門自
身獨特的地理文化優勢，投入作為中葡平台橋樑的角色，促進葡語系國家及中國內地工程界的交流，這正
與盛世集團的「平台策略」不謀而合。
