Risk Assessment in Galaxy 110kV Substation Technical Gallery:
To assist the routine technical gallery inspection at the Galaxy 110kV substation, QAS
will conduct the risk assessment before colleagues entering the confined space. Air qual-
ity measurement will be conducted by the competent personnel with a certified gas
detector to ensure the environment is safe to enter. Staff is prohibited to enter the con-
fined space if the gaseous concentration detected exceeds the following requirements:
銀河電站技術長廊的風險評估:
為配合同事在銀河電站的技術長廊定期檢查工作，品質安全部預先安排
於檢查工作前進行風險評估。由於技術長廊定義為密閉空間，合資格人
員會使用儀器進行空氣測試以確保環境安全，才讓同事入內進行檢查工
作。如空氣成份測試超過以下標準，任何人士便不得進入密閉空間工作:

Gas LEL O2 CO H2S
氣體 爆炸下限 氧氣 一氧化碳 硫化氫
Requirement < 5% 19.5-23.5% < 30ppm < 10ppm
要求

In May, QAS arranged the on-site demonstration of new gas detector models and at the
same time, enhanced the staffs’ safety consciousness through sharing of confined space
working experiences by our gas detector supplier.

5月，品質安全部便安排了空氣測試儀器供應商親臨現場，為同事示範新款儀
器及交流有關密閉空間工作的經驗，務求讓同事能深入了解同時提高其安全意
識。
