MPS Colleagues Received Training
on Modeling Software

The company recognized the need of the colleagues’ familiarization of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) to

meet the Macau’s new development requirement and from May to June, the company launched a series of ‘Autodesk
Revit’ software training. A total of 16 MPS colleagues, including eight architects and eight colleagues working in me-
chanical, electrical and plumbing services, attended the training. The training covered the software’s functionality and the
application of 3D models to the construction documentation phase.

The provision of ‘Revit’ training was designed to improve the colleagues’ familiarization with the creation of 3D archi-
tectural project models and their application to working drawings, and facilitate the works of colleagues to detect design
mistakes to save manpower cost for debugging in drawings and bills of quantity.

為配合當今澳門的發展，公司意識到員工精通建築資訊模型(BIM)的重要性。本年五月至六月，MPS為十六

名員工，包括八名建築師和八名負責機械、機電和供排水範疇的同事，提供了一系列的建築與室內設計軟件
培訓課程。培訓內容涵蓋了建築與室內設計軟件的功能介紹及三維模型在圖紙設計階段的應用。

透過此建築與室內設計軟件培訓課程，希望讓員工更熟識三維建築項目模型的建構及將模型應用到施工圖
上，同時能便於員工察覺出設計弊端以節省在圖紙和材料數量上除錯的人力成本。

I think the training helps us to familiarize the operation of the Autodesk Revit software
which is extremely useful in our daily work. The software helps to create 3D models
which enable us to check and avoid design mistakes throughout design process. The ap-
plication of 3D modeling meets Macau’s new development requirement and boosts the
working efficiency of architects, mechanics and technicians.

計失誤。三維模型的應用符合了澳門新發展的需求，以及提高了建築師、機械
師和技術人員的工作效率。

The training renders me familiar with the functionality and the operation of the 3D Matthew Lam 林文輝
modeling software which can be used to prevent mistakes in design phase and facilitates Chief of E & M Engineer
the progress of work of the entire work team. Although the use of 3D modeling software
is not popularized in Macau, quite a number of architectural firms and construction 首席機電工程師
companies in developmental countries and regions, like Singapore and Taiwan, have
widely employed this type of software to facilitate their working efficiency.
培訓課程讓我認識到建築與室內設計軟件的功能與操作。該軟件能用來避免在
設計階段的錯誤並能提高整個工作團隊的工作進度。雖然三維模型軟件的應用
在澳門不是很普及，但是在很多發達國家和地區，例如新加坡和台灣的建築公
司也廣泛使用這類軟件來提高他們的工作效率。
