With short-term and middle-term mea- sures adopted to counter the malodour around the plant, the initial stage of project has been well-received by the 16 representatives of citizens in that district, led by Fong Chong Sodality for the northeast district in a field obser- vation to the plant. They were also concerned about the plant’s expansion work and its development and planning in peripheral areas in the future. CESL Asia has always been striving to create a better neighbourhood for Macao citizens by seeking the best solutions and understanding different opinions from all walks of life.
