CESL Asia fully supports the Football Team

of the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong

eing a strong links and Macau company with businesses in Portugal, CESL Asia has always been contributing
Bto the development of Portuguese community in Macau through its Social Investment Program. To advance
Macau's Sino-Portuguese identity, we have been actively organizing and participating in various projects, one of the
examples being our support and sponsorship to the Football Team of the Portuguese Consulate General in HK and
Macau.

Mr. Vítor Sereno, the Portuguese Consul General of Macau and Hong Kong, formed a football team in 2013 is
participating in Macau Football League's Second Division. With the participation in the official league and many
other football events, Mr. Vítor Sereno hopes to enhance the relationship among Macau multicultural community,
promote diversified development and fully carry out “Sport Diplomacy”.

The press conference of the football team was held on 7 Feb 2018 at the Consulate-General of Portugal in Macau,
Mr. Vítor Sereno, together with the football team players and guests worn the new team jackets and showed team
spirit. During the occasion, Mr. Vítor Sereno expressed that Sports Diplomacy promotes cultural ties, facilitates
Chinese and Portuguese culture exchange while bringing the public closer and familiar with the Consulate; he also
thanked all parties who support this initiative. Mr. Antonio Trindade, the President and Chief Executive Officer of
CESL Asia, expressed that CESL Asia is proud to be involved in this innovative and meaningful program and com-
mitted to continue to support any such initiatives of the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau.

盛進與葡萄牙社團的多元化發展而作出貢獻，秉承以推動中葡文化作為使命，積極參與及組織多元化
的活動，其中全力支持及贊助葡萄牙駐澳門及香港總領事館足球隊正是一例子。

在葡萄牙駐澳門及香港總領事館總領事薛雷諾先生提倡下，該領事館的足球隊在2013年成立，參與澳門
足球公開聯賽乙組。透過參與公開聯賽及其他體育活動，總領事薛雷諾先生期望以嶄新的概念，以體育
賽事促進與澳門社區的關係，令社區發展更多元化，充分發揮「體育外交」的精神。

該足球隊新一年度的發佈會於2月7日下午假領事館舉行，現任總領事薛雷諾先生率領一眾嘉賓及球員
穿上本年度的足球隊外套亮相，展現了上下一心的團隊精神。在發佈會上，薛雷諾先生表示，「足球外
交」成功發揮了文化紐帶作用，拉近了領事館與公眾的距離，促進中葡文化互相交流；並感謝各方對
體育外交事業的鼎力支持。盛世集團董事主席及行政總裁田達德先生亦表示十分認同體育外交的嶄新思
維，並自豪公司能夠參與其中，並承諾將持續支持葡萄牙領事館。
