Q: How long have you taken pictures?
A: Actually it’ve been a long time ago, probably since I was
a teenager. I moved to Macao in 2006, and I started chang-
ing from analog system to digital one to process photos in
2007, I learned as a beginner. From that moment, I realized
I need to do something meaningful, thus I started to work on
something about photography. When I captured the photos, I
caught the feelings at the first stage and the second stage is to
let the photos ages, then I further develop and elaborate more
through the digital process. I hope the photos can showcase
my attention to the viewers.
Q: From your point of view, how and what makes good photos?
A: Since it is a selective process, you need to look at the objects
and photos repeatedly. First, ask yourself why would you cap-
ture this, is it worth to capture, you cannot go off topics but
bring what you want to express to the viewers. “Don’t misun-
derstand, simplicity is achievable through hard work” is one
of my favorite quotes, which reminds me to take simple pho-
tos with effort.
Q: What is the difference between Architect & Photographer?
A: As I am an Architect, I have the architectural sense when
being a photographer. Most of the photos are taken during
my vacations and due to my profession, I have my own
photo structure. The photos include geography, physical
and nature, I would also take photos with the role of archi-
tect.
