CESL Asia always has the commitment to implement environment sensible solutions to pro-

cess water and wastewater for our industrial and municipal clients. Among the five major water treat-
ment plants serving Macau residents in the region, Macau Peninsula Waste Water Treatment Plant
(MWWTP) is situated in the Areia Preta Zone of Macau Peninsula and operated by our company.
It currently deals with a daily capacity of 144,000 cubic meters of sewage, accounting for 80% of water disposal in
the city. The extension of our contract term from 2011 to 2016, granted by the Macao government, allows CESL
Asia to continue its efficient operational management at MWWTP, ensuring all the assets associated with waste-
water treatment and the plant’s equipment maintenance is properly managed, in line with the standards and regu-
lations. Besides, the upgrading of the wastewater treatment plant’s capacity is also a highlighted part in this project.

污水處理大解構

盛世集團一向致力於爲我們的工業與公營客戶提供水和污水處理的環保解決方案。現今，本澳共有
五座污水處理廠，當中座落於澳門半島黑沙環區的澳門半島污水處理廠由盛世集團掌管營運。
該廠現每天處理超過14萬4千立方米污水，約佔全澳污水總處理量80%。澳門政府早前延長與盛世集
團2011年的合同至2016年，讓集團繼續營運管理污水處理廠，確保所有與污水處理相關的資產及廠
房的設備均能妥善保養，管理得宜，並符合標準規格。另外，對污水處理能力的升級擴容工作亦是
本項目的重點之一。
