High Performance CPV Technology
CESL Asia has invested in building a solar power plant in Portugal, which utilizes the world’s most advanced CPV
technology. This technology uses amorphous silicon, innovative light gathering optical system and hi-tech live sun
trackers, solving the technical difficulties of expelling the extreme heat arising from the high concentrate of solar
rays. This is currently the cutting edge technology for the solar energy. Its conversion rate of solar energy can reach
up to over 40%, far surpassing the traditional silicon technology’s 16-18%.
