Han Che Annual Charity Visit to China Social investment program 劉妙嫻女士 —— 年度內地慈善探訪 盛世社會發展項目 On 21 to 23 March, CESL Asia sponsored staff Lau Miu Han, also known as Han Che, back to her hometown Sun Heng together with Sun Heng Tong Heong Vui to hold charity visit. In this three-day trip, Han Che and other members visited 15 elderly nursing homes, celebrated the Chinese New Year and distributed gifts and warmth to more than 400 elderly persons. They also visited an orphanage, which is the home of disabled children. Han Che brought them candies, toys and other supplies, bringing care and support to their daily lives. CESL Asia has been sponsoring Han Che’s annual charity visit for 3 years consecutively. Han Che expressed that she is very grateful to the company. Some colleagues even asked her to bring some stationery, snacks and other gifts to the orphans every year, hoping to bring care and love to the needy in China. Thank you Han Che for taking the role of delivering love. Her care about her hometown, and her spirit of helping the youth and elderly make her a role model to everyone. 本年2月21至23日，盛世集團贊助員工劉妙嫻女士，隨澳門新興同鄉會舉行回鄉慈善探訪活動。在這三 天的行程中，嫻姐與會友們一共探訪新興縣內15間敬老院，共四百多位孤寡老人，向每位長者派發禮 物，同慶新春。除此之外，他們亦拜訪縣內一所殘障孤兒院，向小孩贈送糖果及玩具等用品，將溫暖帶 到他們身邊。 盛世集團已連續三年贊助嫻姐進行回鄉探老的慈善活動，嫻姐表示很感謝公司多年的支持。每年，一些 同事更會拜托嫻姐把一些文具、零食等禮物贈送致新興縣內的孤兒手中，將愛心與關懷帶到國內的一些 弱勢社群。十分感謝嫻姐擔當起傳遞關愛的角色，關懷老幼的精神，實為大家的榜樣。 Visit to MCDA Office 探訪澳門兒童發展協會 In response to the invitation of Macau Children Development Association (MCDA), on 13 Feb, Social Investment Team representatives visited their office in Taipa in order to learn more about the problems MCDA is currently facing. MCDA is a non-profit association founded in 2004. It offers children with de- velopmental, communication, and learning disorders a range of therapies and educational programs. MCDA is now facing a series of problems, such as difficulty with finances, a shortage of space for classes, and an imminent need of renovation in its current office. The difficulties mentioned prevent them from maintaining services at the quality and quantity demanded, leaving more than 500 children in need as they are waiting to receive therapy. CESL Asia hopes to take this opportunity to in- troduce the association and provide a channel to help the children with special educational needs in our community. 受澳門兒童發展協會邀請，在2月13日，盛世集團義工隊代表來到其氹仔會 址，了解協會最近面臨的困境。澳門兒童發展協會成立於2004年，為本澳 的非牟利機構，宗旨是透過治療服務、教育計劃等幫助本澳有發展障礙、 溝通障礙或學習障礙的孩子。 目前協會因為財政狀況非常緊拙、空間不足、設施日久失修，以致無法繼 續保持服務的質量及數量，五百多名有需要兒童無法立即接受治療。盛世 集團希望透過這次探訪，能向各位介紹社會上提供特殊教學治療的慈善機 構，了解幫助這些兒童的渠道。 19
