Wisdom of the Quarter
In the last 18 of December our company spent a warm Christmassy afternoon at our
headquarters, having prepared to all staff a season’s buffet. Our dear colleague Ms.
Carla Pun kindly shared with us her cooking excellency, and made for this special
gathering the delicious Christmas cake. It is indeed a cooking work of art. Let us find
out how she did it.
Ingredients
175 grams self-raising flour
150 grams sugar
150 grams butter
5 tablespoons milk
2 eggs
1 orange (grated rind of)
Instructions
1. Grease and line an 8” tin. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. Put all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until all ingredients are incorporated. Put into the greased tin
and bake for 40-45 min. until risen and golden.
3. Remove the cake from the tin and cool.
4. Enjoy.
