We are honored to announce that CESL Asia becomes one of the founding members of the non-profit Macau Corporate
Governance Institute (MCGI) in November 2016, along with local and international corporations including Companhia
de TelecomunicaÃ§Ãµes de Macau (CTM), Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU), Sociedade de ConstruÃ§Ã£o e Fomento Pre-
dial Golden Crown, MGM Grand Paradise and Manuela AntÃ³nio - Lawyers and Notaries. MCGI also invited different
entities and individuals to join this Institute, joining hands with financial entities, gaming concessionaires, public utility
enterprises, medium and large caps, educational and cultural entities, and other regulated entities to form regular forums
to advocate the principles of corporate governance and discuss relevant issues.
The MCGI aims to promote the implementation of good corporate governance practices in Macau that emphasize trans-
parency, accountability, business fairness and integrity in management. Joining hands with the founders, CESL Asia shall
arouse local awareness to efficient corporate governance and promote legal consciousness that safeguard the interests of
corporate bodies and help to prepare for the ever-changing commercial world.
