Human Resources

We are committed to promoting the development of each team member’s knowledge, service skills and personal traits, and devoted to enhancing our staff’s performance by providing a variety of internal and external training.

Internal training includes on-the-job coaching, carried out by our departments, unit heads and senior staff, aiming to help new employees to get familiar with their tasks and with the company’s vision and core values. For job-related external training we sponsor our staff to attend coaching sessions held outside the company.

In March 2012, DAFOO Facilities Management Company and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers – Hong Kong Branch signed a 5-year cooperation agreement, aiming to encourage and support mechanical engineering graduates and young mechanical engineers to become members of the Institution. The agreement would also inspire them to register with the Engineering Council (UK) as Chartered Engineers (CEng MIMechE) through a company-based Mentorship Program.

Our company joined hands with different local universities to create an internship programs so as to provide Macau’s students with professional skills, knowledge, and the ability to cope with the challenges that they might come across in their careers.

CESL Asia also cooperates with AICEP Portugal Global Trade & Investment Agency for international internships in the Young Professionals Program INOV Contacto, a project aiming to provide quality training to young professionals with higher level qualifications.

CESL Asia has been also collaborating with University of St. Joseph (USJ) for their scholarship program for several years, and each year, CESL Asia sponsors two Architecture students with outstanding academic results (GPA 14 or above with an attendance rate of more than 80%). The two qualified students perform a 2 month internship program in MPS during summer time. The aim of this scholarship program is to provide not only financial support to these outstanding students, but also to give them the opportunity to explore and understand the job market in Macau in their academic and future industry area.

Aside from internship programs, we also provide summer job vacancies to both CESL Asia’s staff relatives and university students. Through these programs our young collaborators get a general understanding of Macau’s social framework, making us an active contributor to their adaptation to the working environment.

CESL Asia also works in partnership with DSEJ (Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of Macau SAR) in the Summer Occupation Program for Youth called Programa 'Ocupação de Jovens em Férias, contributing to social development and promoting competitiveness among the local youth in Macau. In 2012, we welcomed four young students to work in different departments, and it was a meaningful and fruitful experience for both parties.

In the past few years CESL Asia has been participating and contributing to different career fair events in Macau, such as in the UMAC and USJ Career days, and in other relevant showcases held by local youth organizations. It is CESL Asia’s goal to keep presenting some of the company’s business and employment opportunities in the future events.
